嘉義市廚師職業工會理事長許坤生號召工會成員參與公益，提供明月圓婚宴會館讓華山基金會舉行中秋慈善餐會，30日提前試菜、準備好料款待獨居長輩，9月7日預計席開30桌，目前尚缺10桌，工會拋磚引玉，盼各界認桌響應。
東石68歲曾姓老翁獨居，原本個性孤僻、不喜與外界接觸，華山基金會社工每月訪視、邀他參與活動，曾翁逐漸走出憂鬱，今年將是他第3年參加「中秋K歌才藝大賽暨慈善餐會」，過去在台上賣力演出，博得滿堂彩，他相當期待今年餐會。
今年餐會計席開30桌，許坤生號召工會成員響應，全力協助辦桌，並幫長輩加菜、升級食材，希望邀請更多人，有錢出錢、有力出力，一起加入關懷弱勢長輩行列，讓愛傳遞出去，目前尚缺10桌，每桌6000元。愛心專線：05-379-9940，劃撥帳號：31545786，戶名：華山基金會（備註105中秋）。
曾翁率領多位長輩，穿著可愛學生服，跳動感舞曲展現活力，為慈善餐會揭開序幕，工會成員端好菜上桌、款待長輩。華山秉持「在地老化」理念，在嘉義縣、市設立19個愛心天使站，提供獨老關懷訪視、家務協助、原床泡澡及陪同就醫等服務。
